God has lifted the burden of toilsome duties and heavy tasks from
women’s shoulders.
Originally written in Arabic, this treatise is an interpretation of the
āyah, ﴾Men are managers of women﴿ (Al-Qur’an, 4:34) in which syllogistic
lectures are presented concerning women’s jihād (holy war), judgment,
and rule; philosophy of the right of men and women; meaning of equality
in the right of men and women; limits of women’s participation in jihād;
traditions and the scholars’ consensus on the impermissibility of
holding official and judiciary posts by women; and impermissibility of
women’s membership in consultative assembly.
This volume contains exegetical, narrational, legal, scientific, and
social material in which relevant discussions are also made concerning
the Rule of Juristconsultant (wilāyat-i faqīh).
Since this treatise is a novel exposition of its kind that explains the
misconceptions and delusions about women’s jihād, judgment, and rule, it
was rendered into Persian by some scholars to be used by the general
readers.

Human sciences, however highly advanced, are restricted and may not
undermine one’s devotedness.

sanctified, has brought up and duly responded to ten of the major
objections raised in Dr. ‘Abd al-Karīm Sorūsh’s The Theoretical
Contraction and Expansion of Religious Law against the authority and
eternality of the Qur’an and all sanctities and realities of the world.
Due to its importance and as per suggestion by some scholars for easy
access by professors, students, and researchers, this book, which is the

published separately and without any alterations to be forwarded to the

Major problem in communities is the unbalanced population and
improper distribution of facilities,
rather than the population growth.
This treatise is originally a part of the first volume of Angelic Light
of the Qur’an which deals with the interpretation of the verse, ﴾ nor
kill their children﴿ (61:12). Due to its importance, the treatise is
extracted from the above book and published independently by the title,
“Risāla al-Nikāhiyya”.
As in the time of writing this treatise, i.e. five years after the
demise of the Great Leader of the Islamic Revolution, remarkable
activities had been undertaken concerning family planning and population
control, his holiness Ayatollah Allama Tihrānī proceeded to write some
marginal notes to this treatise and expounded the title of the treatise
by adding to it the statement, “Population Control, a Fatal Blow to the
Muslim Masses”.
Consisting of thirteen considerations, these marginal notes have
analyzed population control from the viewpoints of the Qur’an and Islam
and unveiled the insidious policies of the world arrogance in
debilitating the Muslims’ power.

Truthfulness and certitude is evident in the proponents of Wilāya,
and darkness and ignorance in the followers of falsehood.
This book contains two letters exchanged two centuries ago between the
Sunnī ruler of Bukhārā and the Shī‘a ruler of Khurāsān.
In 1202/1787, a letter rife with accusations and curses was sent from
the governor general of Transoxania (Amīr Ma‘sūm Bayg b. Dāniyāl) to the
ruler of Khurāsān (Amīr Muhammad Khān). The latter asks Mawla Muhammad
Tabasī, one of the scholars and dignitaries of the time, to write a
well-founded reply.
The late ‘Abd al-Wāhid Tabasī wrote a reply that was firm in logic,
pleasant in composition, and novel in its beautiful handwriting.
Allama Tihrānī, may his soul be sanctified, published replicas of both
letters along with an introduction and marginal notes to be presented to
the faithful brethren and diligent students of Gnostic knowledge.
